Preserve your health and vitality! Beneficial effect of natural medicines influences women’s diseases.

Mallow against Respiratory Diseases

Marsh-mallow has always been considered the best natural medicine against respiratory diseases, as it influences strong secretion of scum in colds, coughs, bronchitis. It soothes the irritation that occurs in inflammation, and it is especially effective in pulmonary catarrh. It is especially good as an additional remedy in treating bronchial asthma. Immerse three teaspoons of roots in a cup of cold water for at least eight hours, heat a bit and sieve. Teas of white mallow flowers or leaves are prepared in the same way. Tea is sweetened with honey and drunk in sips. It is an ideal disinfectant, for gurgling and rinsing the mouth mucosa. Tea made of marsh-mallow helps with the diseases of the urinary and digestive organs, particularly with painful urination and inability to hold urine. Mallow efficiently influences the inflammation of the uterus, excessive discharge and increased acid. Tea is drunk cold and unsweetened, in the sip.

Milfoil Prevents Menstrual Symptoms

During the period convulsion in the lower part of abdomen occurs, followed by pain, which can be extended to the back. Then it comes to the fall of hormone levels, uterus contracts and since it has not come to the fertilisation, mucous membrane is rejected and a new one is being formed. Convulsion of the uterus obstructs the flow of oxygen and that is what causes pain. Milfoil can prevent that. It contains a mixture of ingredients (camphor, cineol) that eliminate cramps. Drink three or four cups of tea made of milfoil daily between meals.

Ginseng for Mental and Bodily Energy

Ginseng increases the resistance and the vitality of the body. The Chinese have been using it for 5,000 years. Ginseng helps in the treatment of impotence, anemia, bronchitis, asthma, poor digestion, stress, insomnia, fatigue and poor circulation. Science has confirmed that it helps the body to absorb vitamins and minerals better, stimulating endocrine glands. You should take it before having a meal because it is the most effective then. Ginseng can be obtained in a natural form (as a root), in the form of capsules, tea and liquid concentrate. The older the root of ginseng, the more effective is, because it contains more effective substances.

St John’s Wort against Depression

Short days with little daylight affect the brain gland epiphysis. The less irritation reaches the gland over the nerves, the less melatonin it produces. Too many sleep hormones causes bad mood. The solution for this situation is St John’s Wort. Herbal substance hypericine soothe nerves, a combination of active substances regulates the secretion of melatonin and keeps the stress hormone (cortisol), which improves mood. Have one or two cups of tea in the morning and in the evening.

Proper nutrition is one of the prerequisites of health and thus prevents many diseases. It is known that eating enough fruits and vegetables is preferable, that you should reduce the use of fats and eat white meat (chicken, fish, turkey) mostly, steam cook and avoid frying.

Ill-mixed food is digested for about 8 hours and more, rots in the stomach and then the body spends a large amount of energy. All this results in the creation of toxic substances that cause stomach discomfort, bloating, pain in the upper part of the abdomen, creating excessive amounts of gas and constipation. And those nourishing ingredients from the food disappear. All intakes are partly consumed by oxygen, while others can affect and change the acid base balance in the body. Food is divided into three groups: alkaline, acid and neutral.

Alkaline ingredients are: sea algae, sunflower and millet, mushrooms, soy, dried lentils, fruits and fruit juices, jam, honey, yellow sugar, candy, cocoa powder, coconut, almonds, yogurt, milk, fruit yogurt, sour cream, cream, sour milk, fresh cheese, freshly cooked and dry vegetables (apart from leek, dried onion and white beet).

Acid foods are: fat, mayonnaise, eggs, pork fat, cereals, flour, cookies with fruit, bread, biscuits, walnuts, plums, cooked juices from fruits and vegetables, fresh and dry yeast, vinegar, chocolate, red oily dishes, delicatessen products, offal, fat cans, poultry, game, saltwater and freshwater fish, bacon, shellfish.

Neutral foods are vegetable oils.

What the body needs most is water. You should drink it between but also during meals and at the same time bear in mind that the body needs at least two and a half liters of water a day. You should drink it several times a day. This is a good habit and once gained can help you ease some health problems.

You should be moderate with the use of salt, this goes for everyone. As for daily needs, the salt that is already found in some foods is enough for our body.

Chocolate can be the cause of headache. It is a headache that occurs as a kind of allergy to substances that chocolate contains. This is confirmed by certain allergy tests, and if they are positive, chocolate mustn’t be consumed.

Concerning the diet, it is necessary to reduce the use of saturated fats (of animal origin) in favor of unsaturated (of vegetable origin). Fish should be eaten at least once a week, which is one of the conditions of a healthy diet and is also good for heart and blood vessels. Not every fish is lean. There are fish that have no more than 3 percent fat, but there are half oily fish (from 3 to 8 percent fat) and oily (more than 8 percent). The first group includes hake, trout, sea bass, another carp, dentex, tuna, and the third – salmon, eel and herring.

Acid base balance in the body can be disrupted by the way the food is prepared. If you cook up the food more than once, bread, fry it in deep fat, roast in animal fat, the acidity in the body will increase. Properly prepared and combined food will be maximally decomposed, absorbed and used by the body. Foods of animal origin should be combined with foods of vegetable origin, so that acid base balance is not in disorder. You should combine foods that produce acid reaction with foods that give alkaline reaction.

The choice of food, amount and way of preparing it must be coordinated by the age, weight and physiological condition. Diet must be complete and diverse in order to provide the necessary ingredients to the body: minerals, vitamins, proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vegetable fibers, water etc.

Combine foods, adding herbal spices, parsley and oregano to it. Eat potatoes and pasta with vegetables sauce. Split bread and potatoes into two meals. Foods rich in protein should be taken together in the same meal, so that the body can take a fuller advantage of them. Within that meal you should not combine carbohydrates and proteins. After a cooked meal do not eat raw fruits and other raw foods. Do not eat meat with rice, cheese or bread, but foods with a high percentage of water. Combine grilled meat with red or white onion and fresh salads. Pour some lemon juice and parsley leaves over the fish. Do not eat the soup with noodles, eggs and cake with milk and eggs in the same meal. Do not combine biscuits with the sour milk products. Do not eat meat, eggs and fish at the same time. Do not mix too much food in the same meal, because then you will overload the digestive organs. Seeds are eaten alone or with a vegetable salad (as a substitute for oil). Apples and bananas, which are not fermented immediately after a meal, combine with cereals. Fruit that is quickly fermented, such as peach, plum and strawberry, eat separately. Do not combine milk with ingredients made of flour.

Well combined food affects the proper development of the body, good mood and overall health. Eat wisely and enjoy a healthy life!

Sea Algae

Algae contain more minerals and vitamins than any other food. The sea algae have vitamin B2, choline, naicin, carotene and algae acid, as well as many minerals – iodine, phosphorus, calcium, copper, manganese and zinc. Because of the high content of iodine, algae normalize the work of the thyroid gland. Without iodine metabolism can not function and energy can not be processed.

Fresh algae are the healthiest. One of the best known algae is Spirulina (cyan algae). It regulates blood sugar levels, contains iron, zinc, magnesium, calcium, phenylalanine and is an excellent for reducing weight.

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is rich in gel that heals wounds, and when taken orally it has a purifying effect. It is efficient in treatment of gastric ulcer, too.

External use of this plant is various. For example – it accelerates the healing of wounds, softens blisters and rough skin on feet, prevents the creation of bubbles due to sunburns, regenerates hair.

Parsley

Parsley is rich in minerals, vitamins, iron. Its fruit and essential oils have a diuretic effect. Parsley influences well the kidneys, removes retention of fluids in the belly area, chest and legs before the period. Its leaves should be put onto the painful places to prevent inflammation and pain. It is said that parsley prevents teeth hemorraghea. Experts have found that parsley stimulates the hair growth and sexual activity. Its leaves should be used fresh.

Energy is necessary for every physical activity. Calories are measure for energy that the body gets out of food. From 1800 to 2000 calories meet daily calorific needs of an adult female that should not lose weight. A gram of proteins and a gram of carbohydrates have each 4 calories. The difference is that carbohydrates are the current source of energy and proteins are used to create tissue. Beverages contain calories (400 per liter) and do not have any nutrients. Besides, energy drinks lead to high blood pressure which is dangerous for people suffering from cardiovascular diseases. In addition to this, soda contains acid that disturbs the pH value in the oral cavity and damages dental enamel. Instead, you should drink a lot of mineral water. This is how the appetite is controlled and harmful substances are purged from the body.

Water makes 65% of the human body. It carries substances necessary for cells and makes it possible for the body to purge out bad substances by urine and sweat. The amount of liquids during the summer is 2.5 L. If you exercise you will need more water: 500ml for every 30 minutes of exercise.

All meals should be taken regularly. Do not skip meals, because that slows down the metabolism, and you do not lose weight. People who skip breakfast consume more calories during the day in comparison to those people who have all three meals. It is important to eat slowly. Otherwise, you will have eaten even more food before the stomach sends a signal to the brain that you are full up.

After a meal you can drink a cup of coffee instead of a glass of alcohol. Coffee stimulates metabolism and fats decomposition, while alcohol blocks it.

Consume vegetables! Vegetables are rich in vitamins, minerals, salts and water. So, you can eat vegetables in large amounts, without any harm to your body shape.

Fruit as well as vegetables is rich in water and does not have many calories. However, do not overdo with dried fruit because it contains a lot of fats. Bananas should not be eaten in large amounts, because this fruit contains starch.
